An Acoustic Evening with Michelle Wright

Michelle Wright is one of Canada’s most widely recognized and awarded country singers with over 30 major music industry awards to her credit, a string of 25 Top Ten hits on radio, including seven Number One singles, and nearly 2 million albums sold in North America. The first Canadian-born artist in the modern era of country music to have a Top Ten hit in the U.S., to have a Number One video on CMT-USA, and to win an Academy of Country Music Award, Michelle has been recognized from the outset for her expressive voice and distinctive style.

Michelle’s concert at The Rene Caisse Theatre in Bracebridge, ON on Sunday, October 24th is part of her cross-Canada fall 2010 “the Wright Songs - an acoustic evening with Michelle Wright” tour. The show features Michelle in a comfortably intimate setting along with her lead guitarist and her keyboard player presenting a selection of material from her eight-album catalogue, plus some brand new material, some stories, and a few surprises, too - all punctuated by the powerful hits that have earned Michelle recognition as one of Canada’s greatest vocal talents.
