FALL 2010 - SPRING 2011

HUB Productions at the Caisse nurtures the budding
stage and screen talent of Muskoka, offering after-school,
community productions, and day camp programs in acting,
singing and choreography. Kids from JK to Gr. 12 can take
classes or audition for the HUB Company, which mounts 3
full-scale musicals and 1 full-scale teen educational drama
per year. HUB Company members have gone on to appear
professionally on stage, television, and in movies! While
many of our stage-struck high school grads have gone on to
study acting & theatre in college and university!

HUB FALL/WINTER CLASS
REGISTRATION
“Triple Threat” with Amy Bridle (ages 5-12)
A fun and interactive class that teaches kids how to
improve their “Triple Threat” performance technique!
Using famous Disney and youth musicals we will work on
acting, improvisation, choreography, and vocal instruction/
ensemble. No previous experience is required for this class.
Class Day & Time: Tues. 6-7:30pm • Oct. 5 to Nov. 23, 2010
Show: November 30, 2010 @ 7pm

Project Superstar with Amy Bridle (ages 10-16)
Ever wonder if you have what it takes to be a Superstar?! This
class is for those looking to advance and hone their acting
skills through improv, diction, team building, monologue,
scene study and more!!! We will also be developing audition
technique, expression & memorization, on-camera acting,
acting for commercials, and voice exercises to help with
diction and projection. Parents and students who are also
interested in ‘the biz’ will have the opportunity to learn how to
get started with headshots, auditions, and agents. Previous
acting experience is a must for this class.
Class Day & Time: Tuesday Evenings from 4pm to 6pm
March 1 to April 26, 2011

The Rene M. Caisse Memorial Theatre is dedicated to education...

The theatre is open all year round for educational purposes.  During the day, the school uses the theatre for drama and music classes, presentations, concerts etc.  At night, the theatre is host to a variety of different educational programs such as after school performing arts classes, youth theatre shows, graduations, seminars and parent teacher meetings.  It is important for us to open the theatre doors to those who share the interest of educating our local youth.  If you have any inquiries regarding our educational commitments, please contact us!

Amy Bridle, theatre artistic director, is passionate about retaining and attracting young entrepreneurs in Muskoka and is committed to incorporating local talent and businesses as best she can at the theatre.
